Spree Magazine think that Daniel (19) has, nevertheless, an exciting and innovative future ahead of him. We asked him some questions to get to know more about the boy Daniel.

Describe yourself with three words?

- Funny, kind, and maybe a little bit musical. I am interested in music that has already been made, but I also compose my own music on the computer - something that is called electronica.

What is the best thing about your life now?

- I like travelling to visit the friends that moved away from my hometown. I now live in a smaller city, but want to move to a slightly larger city where there are more opportunities than where I currently reside. Perhaps also in love terms.

What do you like about yourself?

- The creative parts. I'm interested in fashion and clothing, as well as architecture and art. I like to follow the trends and then put together clothes to something that represents my own personal style.

What would you like to do in the future?

- I do not know yet, but I will start by studying art. I am unsure if I even want to create art, while it's nevertheless a field I feel attracted to. The future will show in what ways I can put my interests into practice.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

- Maybe abroad. I think cities like London and Prague seem exciting.

What annoys you?

- When people do not accept others.

When did you come out of the closet?

- When it comes to my sexual orientation I told this to my closest friend in secondary school. I always knew I was gay, and now I'm open to most. Those who do not know and ask, will know.

If you could travel back in time, what era would you like to experience?

- I would like to be my age and live through the 60's, 70's and 80's. In other words I would like to "freeze" my current age and keep it through all these three decades.

Who are your best friends?

- I have several good friends. Now many of them have travelled to larger cities, so we are not so many left here. Therefore it will be especially fun to move closer to them after I finish high school.

What inspires you?

- Art, love, school, friends and parents.

What could you not live without in your life right now?

- Friends, money, computers, music, sleep, food, Cola...

What do you do in your spare time?

- I'm with friends, I like to watch movies and listen to music, spend time on the Mac, work - mostly normal things.

Are you generally optimistic or pessimistic?

- I am perhaps mostly pessimist but I try to be optimistic. I think "no it can't be that bad," and then it is a fight between the two, and sometimes the pessimistic side wins.

What makes you laugh?

- I have friends who are very good at making me laugh. Otherwise, I watch TV shows like "Absolutely Fabulous," and it can be very funny.

What do you do on a typical Saturday night?

- If I have money I like to go out and do something fun. If not, I'm at home or otherwise, together with some friends. Maybe we watch a movie or do something else.

Are you an extrovert or introvert?

- It depends on who I talk with. In new situations, or in class, I am perhaps mostly an introvert. Together with people I know I am more an extrovert.

Are you spontaneous or prefer to have plans?

- I like to have plans, and can easily be frustrated by not knowing what is happening. At the same time, it's sometimes good to be spontaneous, and come up with something one did not plan at all in the first place.

Which season do you like the best?

- It varies. In the summer I long for the winter, while in winter I want summer. But summer is great with the long holiday.

Do you have siblings?

- Yes, I have a big sister and half-brother.

What do you think surprises others about yourself?

- That I am 19 years old.

Which person do you admire the most and why?

- Marianne Faith Full, a musician from England. She is over 60 years old now and have lived both an exciting and challenging life, but has come through all her experiences strengthened. It shows again in the music, which has depth and soul. She has also created music in many different genres such as rock, pop, folk, jazz and blues.

Do you have a philosophy in life?

- No.

Do you have a nickname among friends?

- In elementary school they called me "Danielle," but I was actually not completely satisfied with this nickname. Now I'm mostly called Daniel.

The last book you read?

- I read "Gunnlaug Ormstunge," which in my opinion, unfortunately, was a boring book, but it was in connection with a school assignment. I don't read too many books, but I do like the author Lars Ramslie.

Tell a random fact about yourself?

- I do not download illegal music. I support artists, and cannot listen to music if I have not paid for it.

What problem would you choose to resolve first to make the world better?

- I think one must start with finding solutions to hunger and war.

What is needed to create peace on earth?

- Acceptance and respect.
