Thor (17) is a multitalented boy that in his young age has already achieved a lot. He has toured 5 years with the boy choir "The Silver Boys", he composes his own music and lyrics, he is interested in literature, social issues, psychology, philosophy and a wide range of other fields.

Not afraid to share opinions

Thor describes himself as a little sharp tongued and decided, but underneath his sometimes sharp surface there is an underlying deep respect for other people and their views.

- I have opinions about many topics, but my primary interest is personal development for all humans. By this I mean that human beings does not evolve well based on believing and doing what everyone else thinks is right, but that development starts first and foremost by getting to know yourself.

This certainly does not mean that one should be indifferent in dealing with your surroundings, but rather the opposite, Thor explains.

- You do not have to agree with everyone about everything. One must accept diversity in all forms, but the primary focus should be on our personal development. By being yourself, it will be possible to provide room for others to also be themselves - and not what we believe that all others want us to be.

Inspiration and music

Music is one of the most important sources for inspiration in Thor's life, and his favorite artist is Tori Amos, which he has all musical releases from.

- I was at a concert with Tori Amos, and will describe the event as one of the greatest experiences in my life so far. Concerts touches me deeply and remains as irreplaceable memories.

Thor has even made a career with the boy choir "The Silver Boys," by touring five years with them. He still likes to both sing and compose.

- I would love to release my own CD. This is one of my dreams. If it will be the first one I will realize, we will see, but I like now first and foremost to listen to music. Besides Tori Amos, I also appreciate classical music, but then mostly in more experimental forms.

Dreams and goals

- There are so many things that interest me. I would like to be an artist, author, psychologist... it is difficult to choose a particular direction. I still think that becoming a writer is my biggest desire.

Thor also likes to read different types of books from biographies, novels to fact-based books. Within the self-development field, he especially enjoys the words of Paulo Coelho.

- It is great to find an author who thinks similar to me, and I feel Coelho really do. He has an important message to people today. It is not all I agree on even with him, but he is still a writer who gives me much inspiration.

- There are not only stars in the skies

For Thor success is to feel that he has made something out of life, and not to make choices that are inconsistent with his own inner goals and dreams.

- I know that life here is limited and I would anyway not choose to live forever, even if I could. If we could live forever I think we would become indifferent to making improvements in the world. One lives on anyway, so what will my efforts really mean? While we live here, we must therefore explore our opportunities, and as mentioned, base them on our inner self, and not develop in the direction we think the society and great masses wants us to go.

Thor looks forward to finish education and become independent, but he is also very happy with his life now. He has close and good friends that he would do anything for and otherwise knows the importance of appreciating what really brings joy to his life.
